Just spoke with my dealer and he has ZERO allocation for May..WTF..

Looks like June now if I'm lucky..

He has four 1M's allocated... I am dirty as, I was supposed to be 1st on his list and it looks like he has shafted me for a later production date..So much for fucken loyalty..

By the way, I am off to Europe today, am visiting Munich (mid April) and the Museum and Factory tours. I WILL be on the lookout with the EOS550 for 1M's. I will have a hire car (merc, blah) so will troll the streets to find the elusive 1M.

Will have the Laptop so should be able to post pics if I get anything worthwhile.

Good luck. I am fifth on the list and I demand my car before the end of the world comes (namely 21 Dec 2012).

Apparently I will "definitely" get one this year!

I'll be in France in a fortnight...I suspect my chances of seeing something interesting are far less than if I were in Munich however!

Really sucks Zuzu, know exactly how you feel, except it probably stings a lot more for you cos of the loyalty. Nevertheless, I'm certain you'll get a car so there is at least that assurance to fall back on. Really feel for you.

Garry in the proverbial 'Gong said all cars are due to be delivered prior to November 2011, if that is right, it's not so bad.

i spoke to sylvania and they have no idea about production dates for me either, and if your not getting answers about may or june considering your long history with them, what hope do i have...

i could really do with a holiday, i hope you and your eos550 will have a good trip,

Thanks Guys.. It really sucks, as I was assured that I was first on the list back in October..

They have obviously bumped me for a "full price" paying customer.

Now I can only hope for a June production..

BMW Sydney. I figured a factory owned dealership was the safest bet given the tight supply situation.

You where on the money there..

My dealer at Sylvania did get an April slot, just wasn't for me

He also said that he will get his full allocation of 5 cars, with the last build date in September..

From what he told me the April 1M will be BSM and should be there 1st week of June..

At least I will get a peek before delivery..

With the model oversubscribed, if I was a BMW dealer I wouldn't be selling one to anyone for less than what I could get. There is no loyalty customer to dealer or dealer to customer in 2011, that is an old concept hat no longer applies.

I would be pretty annoyed if someone else bumped me. At least if they do it, they better just tell me that a more regular customer wants the car and own up to it. May be offer some perks like early trade and a nice M loan car etc to make up for it. What Kloster BMW and BMW Sylvania did to you guys is just not the right way to do business.

Looks like BMW is really leaving the decision right till the end - at the moment, it sounds like they are telling the dealers pretty much right before.
