Looks like they're back on eBay in full force There's a lot more listings for them now too, but here's exactly what I got. https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Sport-S...laANVi&vxp=mtr What I had to do to really make them fit flush was trim 'inside the valley' in the green area. The flap isn't as wide as our rear bumpers/quarter panels are thick, so it stretched it a little. Until you trim it jusssstt a wee bit. Oh and the red part needs to go. The part that actually screws into the fender liner in the wheel well, it protrudes too much and so it made the top part of the mud flap stick out from the bumper/quarter like 2mm. This DOES chop off some screw holes, but I just made a real small hole in the flap, then pushed a zip tie through it and zip tied it to a body screw. Gap doesn't look big in the pic but it is. With the trimming it'll fit perfect. Fit the flaps without trimming them, you'll see exactly what I mean.

1 being slap on POS crap with no shape, and 10 being perfect factory fit, I would give these a 7, only because I had to trim the inside of the rears. The fronts were pure plug and play. They both fit the shape of the car very nicely!

Mud flaps never fit...and they rub the paint, then when you throw them away because you end up hating them because your car looks like a truck you find a new task ...treating the paint it scratched up....
Having said that ...do these have any rubber on the inside to save the outer rim paint?? |

I am on the fence about the splash guards... I live in the snow belt and want to protect the car from salt crystals being thrown at the side of the fender or stones or what have you... I assume there are not longer any genuine OEM mud flaps, at least not what I have been able to find. Also, is there any difference between a standard 135 bumper and the M Sport package? Just got the car a month ago... Thanks! I have a 2013 135i M.

Bumpers could be changed out by a previous owner, though. Post up some pics for us to see. Some people change to 1M replica bumpers, BMW Performance bumper, carbon fiber diffuser, etc. And yes, OEM mud flaps are few and far between. Might be able to find some used, if you're lucky. PS - Chinese knock-offs are probably still available.

Looks like someone (probably on this forum) got extremely lucky back in late August! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mud-Flap-Mu...gAAOSwJAtZN8jV
Finds like this give me hope in my search for the rear flaps

I came upon this site that seems to have them but I've never heard of them. Anyone have any experience with this vendor?

Too bad, but I expected that. Would love to find some new oem mudflaps for my 1er, as I'm sure others would as well.

How can one get a group buy going on something which isn't being manufactured any more with nonexistent inventory?

Case in point: The E30 dashboard, and for that matter - E30 mudflaps are still available for my 1991 car, so yeah . . . . |

Someone should try to reach out to corporate and see what the process would be like for something like this. I feel like there would definitely be enough interest for the mudflaps or the mesh sun shades.

There's not going to be enough interest to cover the cost of the paperwork necessary to get them to start discussing the possibility of production, much less cover the cost of retooling a factory and actual production. And whereas one might find NOS of genuine BMW mudflaps or the dashboard for the E30, they are no longer in production.
