8" = 10.7kgs
9" = 11.5kgs

I read that unless you increase the weight towards the outer edges of the wheels/tires it doesn't have a great effect on that "rotational mass" mumbo jumbo.. Sorry I'm not trying to be ignorant but I don't remember word for word what i read.. It was a test where they switched from 14's or 15's to 17's and saw a 3% loss in HP of course that's goin up 2" so I would assume going up an inch would be roughly a 1.5% loss in HP depending on the wheel style and weight..

I put on 19" wheels last week, and I think 19" looks really cool on the 1-series.
But the handling is definitely better with 18". Comfort is also better

19" Alufelgen SF71s on KW V2 Coilovers

18" Forgestar CF5s on H&R Sport Springs

Personally, I like the look of the 19" waay better, but the 18s offer better performance on the track. If you don't track and have good roads where you live, I would go with the 19s. I'm in the Orlando area if you ever want to check them out in person.

I originally wanted the gunmetal that YOU have! Unfortunately they don't offer it anymore, so dark gunmetal it is!

I guess it depends on the wheel style, but generally 19's without a drop look silly. Other down side is they make the stock brakes look puny.

I think with the slightest drop 19's look good.. I actually prefer them not tucked at all.. Maybe I'm weird

Only rub if I have 4 full size adults in the car while pulling into a drive at an angle uphill... lol To say the least, it really doesn't rub, I've only found one spot that I drive through where it rubs in the rear. Tires are 265/35 in the rear.

I think I like YOUR dark gunmetal better than the Titanium Gunmetal I have, especially on a white car like yours.

There's not much to look at in the sidewall of a tire - unless you're thinking of putting whitewalls on your e which would be quite interesting.
