Try resetting your adaptations.

Doesn't sound good Vinney but I think pavo may be onto something with the rev limiter. I have limped at least 3 times in the last week just after WOT and i'm almost certain it was from loss of traction leading to my rpm's hitting too high with DTC completely off. I've removed my rear bracing from over the diff and traction is terrible now and the E85 doesn't help the situation.

I went WOT on the highway twice last night. Car was well rested after the track. 1st run felt very strong, 2nd run limped straight away. Also tried to run Michael on the way back from QR, first WOT run and I limped.

I've only ever had 2 injectors replaced on my car. My car was a few days outside of the recall

Map 5 I'm assuming? What's your open loop mapping at? You have to log it. I know I sound like a broken record sometimes when it comes to logging but it's the best way to diagnose most issues.

Hey Vinney, I have a solution, drive slowly down to sydney (2k rpm should still get you near 100kph) on the 19th and on the 20th Edwin will interpret the log at wakefield, problem solved

Yes, the ECU and throttle valve adaptations - Reset them both.

I had the same trouble as you - on the M5 hear in Sydney, went WOT to enter the 110km traffic flow and went into limp with the half engine light. Pulled over and restarted the car and it was ok. When it came time to speed up after a toll booth, bam, same thing happened again. It did it maybe 5 times over a week until I read a post that suggested reseting all the adaptations and it went away and never had it again. Cant hurt to try!

EDIT: Also, maybe talk to Peter about the ATF cooler/Radiator conversion he did for me. Temps should be well under control on my car now.

I am by no means a magician but more than happy to look over any logs.

Dont think it was a recall in such.

Just a injector campaign.. As your car went in for service they would read the data of each injector and replace thw affected culprits..

I had a 08' 135 back then and had 2 injectors replaced.. Some had all replaced.

Yes Map 5, feels the strongest too. Not sure what open loop mapping, just installed the software and went straight to map 5. Will need to log soon.

Might be easier to fly Edwin up here so he can fix all our cars

Ok I'll give this a go. I've had issues with my o2 sim dp fix ever since I installed my full exhaust. Basically was throwing codes because the dp fix was too aggressive, have since dialled it back to the minimum setting but it throws no codes now. I want to remove it altogether though as I suspect this is contributing to the problem.

Not sure on the exact dates but if your car has been in the shop they would have told you about it and replaced if needed.

Sorry, I've just skimmed this thread: How much (if any) cutting is required to fit the larger 20 row unit?
