The 1M is a beautiful car. Don't ruin it with that photo.

1M is a classic car, and looks as striking today as it was when it was first released. The design is aging really well. I'm not surprised peeps are snapping them up, especially at the current prices.
Not sure about future selling prices rising like in the UK and US, but it will and does seem to be holding its value well.

Meanwhile, the BSM with 9,000km on it listed for $90K appears to have sold in a matter of days, so would venture it sold close to asking.

Bodes well for my pristine 7,400km VO 😊

Not really as it's missing the original wheels worth at least 5.5k to replace as sec hand good ones are almost impossible to find

NOt all that surprising, actually.
In the opinions of many, myself included, the 1M was the last great driver-focused BMW.

Why are the standard wheels CSL spec or competition package spec with the fronts? If they run the competition package spec fronts you can land a set from turner for under $4k AUD.

Of course, but wheels aren't 5.5k + and tyres are a consumable. I'd replace them at 20k if they hadn't been done anyway.

Don't agree, tyres are consumables regardless of the wheels.

But anyways price on it looks good regardless.

I think it's decent value strictly considering the ad and also the lack of OEM wheels. 10k price drop plus pics was

Sorry dude I dont know where you get your pricing from but

Fronts are 603.95 US
Rears are 659.95 US

Plus exchange rate of 4% commision and current exchange rate
Plus 580 US Shipping (OEM wheels aren't Light)
Plus GST, stamp duty and a processing fee from customs

Over 5k + tyres

So the car is about the same as others on pricing when you factor in the replacement original wheels.

If you don't care about original wheels its a bargain.
