The 29th sounds like a free day to me so far. Any idea where we'll be going?

BMWRX glad your free to make it for the run. In the past we have been to wivenhoe dam and mt glorious. One of the other 1ers comes all the way up from the sunnycoast, as BBK suggested maybe this time we can head north somewhere so that he wouldnt have to drive so far. Any recommendations?
chappy, none of the 1ers had cameras with us I thought the e90 guys would have had some photos? I have been checking on their forum but no photos there either, will have to wait for BMW club QLD to put some up I guess |

Mt Glorious is always a good run, so I'm all for it. There is also Lyons Rd down south too.
However, Glorious and Nebo would be more accessible for everyone.

Lyons Rd is very bumpy as we found out recently. Nebo/Glorious is very busy and policed. I'm hoping to do a Nebo/Glorious run on the bike this w'end if anyone's interested.

29th is our Christmas party so might only join you if you are coming up north. Need to be back home and get change by 11am. Only issue up this way is that it gets quite busy even early with cyclist and cars.

How big do you guys want the drive to be?
I haven't been through Samford and ocean view for a while, but I remembered it was a great run, and not much traffic. Between Montville and Maleny has got one of the best run if there is no traffic - smooth sweeping curve, impossible to police. Peachester Rd apparently is one of the coast favourite.

definitely all is welcome, was going to post something on e90 post but you guys got here before I had the opportunity. Well Richard had a kind thought and said we should come visit you this time instead of you having to drive down everytime. Definitely not as long as the border run but probably the same amount of driving when we first met you Steve. If we do a sunnycoast run will you be able to attend? |

yes def zenderm3, sparoz drove his e46 318i when we first met him and he did well to keep with the 1ers. When is your m3 due? Shotgun passenger seat ride when it comes?

I was quite surprised how well I can keep up with Dizzy in the 318i with a slush box. I still think the e46 edges the e82 in dynamics, probably because of the silly suspension we get that is designed for the RFT.
I will have to leave you guys on the Sunshine Coast of course - if you are coming this way, I would join you in Brisbane and work my well back up. The other thing many people might not like is that it is best to have an earlier run. Monville/Maleny gets very busy even around 8am. I have to be back at Maroochydore at 12pm. One more thing is that Qld roads I believe is much more policed then NSW - although the official speed limit is supposed to be the maximum state limit which is 100 for NSW (or 110), it would be very unlikely for them to police the black cross zones. While we know Nebo and Glorious is often policed, I guess all the popular runs that is closed to civilization would be... I am running behind with my work, but will try to get across Peachester Rd and may be down to Ocean View to check it out. Other option is to go through back of Somerset, but that run I believe takes a while.
