Those headlamps look different. Are the "inside" lamps projectors also? The main beams are Bi-Xenon arent they?:iono:

What looks different is the black housing. I wish there was more talk about this on this forum.

In addition to the clear corners, it appears that Euro cars have the headlight surround in black, while US cars (North American maybe? I haven't seen too many Canadian examples) have this silvery shit.

The black adds a lot of seriousness to the expression of the front of the car. I quite like it.

Thanks for the new pics, love the interior. Does the car sit that low on the rear q panel looks like it has a lowered suspension but only slightly. Is the torque in first like the 335i. What feels faster to you? Keep those pics coming. :w00t:

Anyone else notice that the 1-series iDrive lacks the extra programmable buttons that the 3-series iDrive has?

i've brought it up a few times, i absolutely love it. but i think black headlight housing looks good/better on 99% of cars to begin with.. on the 1 i think it makes the somewhat unattractive (but well proportioned) front end come out just right, and more aggressive. and would probably complement any color and any style. i just hope its not too hard/expensive to get a pair of those over here. although i doubt it would be and would expect the aftermarket to get up on that. AW, black headlights, black interior, hyperblack exhaust outlets, black grill, gunmetal/hyperblack wheels, tint.. sounds almost blasphemously perfect

Jack, thanks again for answering the bombardment of questions and supplying the pics, it is very much appreciated. you have very good taste, beautiful car.

Jack, I just love that low-angle 3/4 shot - I think that is one of, if not the, best shot I have seen for making this car look great. A keeper - do you have a higher res version?

AW was never on my radar but it is definitely a contender now.

Thanks for pointing out the unexpected problem I'm going to have with my car down under PaulUK36.

Wonder if BMW supplies special a seat harness for my car

Jack does the i-drive screen flip up/down automatically when you start/stop the engine?
