Not a fan. To me, it looks like those cars I see all over NYC that have had so much body damage that they don't even bother taping off panels before repainting so they just paint over all of the plastic trim pieces. Just my opinion...

I am glad I had the work done professionally then I am also glad I did not do it for you or anyone else, I am simply sharing what I had done like everyone else. Have you seen some of the cars on this forum??? I keep negative comments to myself and only share those that are worthy of sharing. |

Thank you all for the kind comments.
I wish I had a better camera to show proper photos, it really looks good and am very happy with the outcome. I will research the mesh idea and see if I can get it done properly. |

Its easy bro. With the diffuser on the car use a sheet rock knife with two or three new blades on hand. Score it a few times with a new blade. Then put another new blade on and with a steady hand cut into it. It's easy because the piece that you want to cut out will act like a guide, youll see what I mean when you cut into it. Becarecul in the corners not to cut into the diffuser it self.
Once it's out there's seven bolts to unscrew then the diffuser will be off. Now take the piece you cut out and use it as a template to Cut the mesh. Be sure to cut it 1" more then the template So you have something to mold and glue around the back Of the opening you made. Paint the mesh if your going to. Mold it into shape. At this point you want to score or use sandpaper to rough up the area Your going to epoxy it to. Clean that area your going to epoxy. Get yourself waterproof 2 minute epoxy. It sets up quick so Mix it and put it on the diffuser. Then take your molded mesh and apply pressure to the outside corners and apply pressure evenly it will tack up and dry quick. Let it cure over night. Put it on the car the next day. This is how it should have come from the factory. Any questions pm me. Post some pics when your done it will look even better then Mine because your cars a light color.

not my cup of tea, I think the contrast from the diffuser is needed to give the car an athletic stance from the rear... but if you're happy with it, that's all that matters.
