Dude with as many times as you take your wheels off the car it's never occurred to you to look at the calipers? Yes, they are manufactured by Brembo for BMW, and instead of applying the "Brembo" emblem they simply apply the "BMW" emblem.

Let's face it, you have a somewhat "radical" book when it comes to cars...however, because they truly are Brembo calipers, there is no false advertisement here - just that he tried to feed us some cake about the brakes being an aftermarket Brembo kit lol

Probably just sarcasm. There are few 135 owners (especially forum members) that wouldn't recognize the calipers. They are pretty famous even otherwise, E9x users are always trying to retrofit.

No one is trying to hate on you or your car. Everyone here is extremely honest and just calls it as they see it. You would know if we were hating on you.

Nice car and keep us posted when more mods come.

Please explain to me what it is that I'm "hating" on....is it your red calipers, or jzhang's array of mod's which I would never put my car through?! Hey to each his own and I respect that, I was just educating you. By the way, below is a direct quote from you, where you were "making it clear" that "the calipers are not OEM" and that "they are not 'powercoated' in red" lol what are they then, spray painted? By the way, the correct terminology is "powDercoating", not powercoating

OP man, relax for a moment....nobody is flamming your here...we all agree the car looks good. I personally like the red and have often though of re-doing mine in that color too. We were just trying to make sure you knew that they're OEM calipers in case somebody told you different. Enjoy the car for sure!

It looks like what you have is just the tips though because you can see the gap between the tips and the OE tailpipes. The full Dinan axle back does not do this. Did you buy all of this stuff from someone or a vendor?

Here's an educated guess: op bought the car and previous owner fed him a story about it having an aftermarket Brembo kit, as well as a Dinan exhaust system.

In reality, the car has painted oem calipers and muffler tips installed over the oem exhaust.

Everything seems to point to the op not doing his research before acquiring the vehicle; luckily, however, the car does look good.

Just my $0.02
