the drop in the picture looks fantastic. it givs the car a meaner look and if some proper photos wer actually taken of the car it would end up as my desktop.

but the car looks much better and has a meaner stance with the coilovers

Personnally I think the drop is a tad too much. I'd raise the front 3/4 of an inch and raise the rear a 1/2 inch. Otherwise you'd be scraping the front all the time.

Really wish the US version came with front PDC as well. BMW should be slapped in the face for not offering us front PDC, anthracite headliner, dual xenons, tii option wheels, and a dual clutch gearbox! ...and the damn car mats should be included in the purchase price...

from the article sounds like the rear is all the way down, if so they need to raise the front a tad to match. rake FTL

Noob question. Why are these called coilovers? It looks like a new McPherson struts for the front and springs/shocks for the rear.
