I had one of the original Wagners. Most important is on track performance, and the 5" Wagner is more than sufficient - I am FBO and with GPS calculated 298kw off the wheels at QR back straight on the national track. Tube and fin is the way to go - flow and surface are are the most important.

It’s not off the shelf, but BPS Auto in Brisbane can supply.

https://www.bpsautos.com.au

But I’m sure there are plenty of shops in Sydney that can supply - lead time for my order was around 2 weeks.

Where does the 5inch active autowerkes IC factor in this conversation?

I purchased an evo2 competition from Alan @ BMR
Personally I think it's one of the nicest best made products I've ever seen. I've not seen every intercooler ever made but would think it's difficult to match.
Performance wise, I'm always very very close to ambient.
Great product.

This is the IC you want if you can stretch the coin.

Hey mate,

if you purchased an Evo 2 Comp' from Al@BMR then most likely he sourced it from me as I generally hook the BMR boys up for all their N54/N55 customer requirements.

Street/track.
Spanked mercilessly on the street with three people on board all day in 45 deg C ambient, oil temps never higher than 110F. And that's with the standard thermostat. Water temps and auto trans temps super stable right in the sweet spots.

Speak to Justin (JD75) about race run results. This setup is installed on almost 20 high HP cars now including a regularly raced street legal race car in Sydney.

Expensive, but the last IC you will buy. This is my 3rd and last in 10 years on this car. The others were a waste of money but they were all that was available at the time.

If only we could spend once on final mods!

I’m now running catless 3” straght pipes. Do you guys reckon it’d be making more power with the full xorst?
Guys, just following up on this (granted a bit off topic). What’s the feeling on if catless + straight pipes will make more power? Also, is it worth retuning to suit?
