Look what I got in the mail today... Pretty impressed with 6-day shipping time from New Jersey... Big props to Rich from GTB Performance!

Got N55 Mids coming to go with it... Still debating whether or not to add the PE Y-Pipe Resonator Delete that I've got sitting in the garage...

Vroom vroom. Only if you wanted it earlier, could have snapped Ian's one for good price.

Your car is looking more and more awesome every day.

Yeah, unfortunately I didn't have my 1M when Ian was getting rid of his zorst... I just missed out

Donald is offloading his (think it might actually be Ian's old one?) at some point but I'm an impatient bastard and didn't want to wait...

I had N55 mids and the resonator delete with the PE on my 135i as well... Pretty sure I'm gonna use it but want to hear it with the Resonator in place before I decide...

Hi Harlequin - what made you decide for Remus instead of Akra or HMS?

Would also be curious about your feedback re: sound and additional posting of sound clips when the Remus is installed.
I'm one of the last holdouts for aftermarket axleback exhaust ...

Price, availability and complexity of actually getting it here. The Akra is 5 times the price of this system and most places I spoke to won't even ship it to Australia so I'd have to use a freight forwarding company. Too hard.

The HMS is not much cheaper and and they only build to order so takes, from what I've heard, about 3 months after you place your order...

At the end of the day, I have better things to spend $10k on than an exhaust...

Will definitely be doing some sound clips although Ian has already done some in his build thread...

I think that you will need to do some form of mid-pipe change too in order to get a good exhaust note which is a significant improvement over stock.
Yeah... Some people don't like the tips but I really do... I've got N55 mids on the way

If you can't handle drone then I would leave the resonator in. I've got an Akra with straight mids now and it's LOUD at cruising speed, but if I'm not in the mood to hear that drone I can always quieten it down. With the Remus you won't have that option..

I was OK with the Y-Pipe on my 135i with N55 Mids and the PE but I'm gonna wait and see how it sounds with the resonator before I go cutting anything up.

PS: The drone on the Berk Race that I had previous to that got to be too much after about 6-8 months though...

your car looks amazing! good job on it! Loving the VO/Black combo

What are those orange bits behind the grill?

Also, are you doing your etune from PTF? I read that you were waiting for the v3 Cobb from them and so was I. Finally got it some 3 weeks ago and Ive been trying to contact them about starting the etune, but no luck. Wondering if you're in a similar situation?

Thanks mate. Appreciate it.

The Orange bits are Macht Schnell Intake Charge Scoops:

https://www.machtschnell.com/www.mac...82-1-series-1m

I Plastidipped them with "Blaze Orange" to make them stand out a bit more...

I am indeed planning on getting an eTune from PTF - just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm currently running a Cobb V3 with the Stage 1 Aggressive ST OTS map.

I believe Cobb are in the middle of doing a whole load of tunes for E90 guys after just finalising a Group Buy over on their forums... That could explain why they are a bit slow getting back to you...

Nice, looks awesome. Do you think they would fit with a FMIC already mounted? would love to install this on my car.

BTW i just can't get over that VO paint. Its the colour to have for this car!

They won't be affected at all by the FMIC. They sit in front of the radiator. The FMIC is lower down...
