What do you have to use to record? A DVR or laptop? It doesn't say anything about a storage media.

My neighbor got this exact same camera, it's pretty sweet. It is very light weight therefore there is minimal shaking... he put it on his bike and s2000, the video is pretty amazing. He got it off ebay for less than 150shipped tho.

I just checked ebay and they are all going for 299. There are the exact same cameras that ARE NOT HD, that go for around 200. Ebay doesn't even have the HD version. So your neighbor may have the TV quality cam. It looks like the HD Motorsports Hero is a brand new product and PYSpeeds pricing looks lower than what you will find on Ebay once sellers even have the model listed.

Thanks. Looked it up and sure enough, same specs. I don't think it'll handle 160Mph on the autobahn though...but I'm gonna find out

i had mine on the roof of a mazda miata going about 115 on the back straight of sebring raceway and it held up more than fine. its a very stout piece of machinery.
