Really you just need the wheel to sit as close to the perch as possible
So, no spacers needed up front?
Depends ultimately on the offset and the type of shock. Perch clearances vary

I thought I'd update this thread with some pics of the track wheel setup I decided on.

The wheels are TRM C2 17x8.5 et40 with RS3 245/40s. I'm on Eibach coil overs with GC camber plates. No fender rolling yet and no rubbing yet.

Nice combo (square I assume).
What did you run before this setup on the track?

You'll start rubbing in the rear once you really pitch the car around a bit. Car looks good!

Square setup. I purchased the car fall of last year, this is all new stuff.

I completed the first solo points even Sunday at Lincoln Airpark. The course was very fast. No issues with the track wheels, no rubbing. Spun out twice, but had fun learning the car's new potentials.

I'm a little late to chime in, but I've been running the same wheel and tire setup for about two and a half years. 8.5" square is awesome. I drive mostly at Texas World Speedway, but have driven COTA, and the other local tracks in Houston. I've never had any rubbing. They require camber plates up front, but that's it. I haven't touched the fenders (front or back). I think this wheel is perfect. I'm glad to see someone else found this out too.
