Bought paint for the garage. I wish I could say tool box also but I will wait on Black Friday to get the deal I want. Already performed my annual maintenance and fluid changes so no need for floorjack or tools yet!
Knock on wood nothing breaks.

I am going for a similar concept like this:

Took mine to a local classic/European meet today. Saw another 1er and a few M cars.

I got the cv recall thing done on my car this week.
When I picked it up, it almost took my breath away! These are such good looking cars, particularly from the side.

Washed it, waxed all of the windows (it makes driving in the rain so much better). Replaced the passenger headlight (finally), so all is right with the world now. Also attempted to change the transmission fluid, but the drain plug was being stubborn, so I voted to wait until I could have a usable spare plug on-hand. Successfully changed the differential fluid, it now has Redline Superlight Shockproof, which has done absolute magic for the civility of the car.

Pulled my BMWP rotors off, they are cracked and shot after ~14 track days.
If I ever get these again, they won't be seeing track duty. Swapped in a pair of Stoptech slotted rotors that I was using on street duty.. I'm not sure what I was thinking originally, should have done the opposite, but oh well.

Cleaned the track grime off the car, and took her for a country drive. Also had the car tech'd for Summit Point in two weeks, which will be the last event for the season.

Summit Point Jefferson with SCCA? October 13-14?

And yikes, those rotors were toast!

Is that a 128i? The lack of trunk lip spoiler says yes, buuut...

Your father's MK7 is looking good! So is the 128i too!

I got a new low profile floorjack so of course I had to try it out!

It's a 128i. Like Suprgnat said, rear bumper cover doesn't have the diffuser cutout.

I'll be at Summit Main on Oct 13 & 14 with Riesentoter Porsche.

The rust made the rotors look a little worse than they actually were, they still had 1.5mm or so of life left thickness-wise (24mm is min I believe), but that said, I was able to watch those cracks spread over the course of the last track day, and they were getting close to the edge.

Those discs....it makes me seriously doubt that the BMW Performance brakes are a real "upgrade" for the 125i, from busted caliper pistons and seals to cracked discs.

Makes me look at the 335i front calipers with Z4 discs (2 piece) and rear 325i larger piston calipers as a much better alternative.

FYI i have seen Stoptech slotted discs also crack from a few track days.

All discs will crack eventually with enough heat cycles, so I'm not surprised, but I was definitely hoping to get more than two seasons out of them. Hopefully these Stoptechs last more than "a few" days

I'd say even with some issues, the the BMWP were still an upgrade from the stock 128i brakes. Stopping power is better, it's a little easier to swap pads, and they look better for sure! A couple of the dust boots are starting to get messed up, but I'm not seeing the busted pistons that others have experienced (yet).

Whether it's the "best" upgrade is debatable. It's certainly cheaper than a proper BBK, even considering a rebuild kit. I also have my OE wheels for DD use, so I wanted to be sure the calipers to fit under the 17" 262 wheels. I'm not sure if the F30 or E9X 335i options will do that. I got a good price on the kit as well, so for the money and the self-imposed restrictions, I think it was a good deal for a new set of calipers, pads and rotors. YMMV.

I'll have to visit Main to get outline stickers of Jefferson...it'll be cool to see another 1'er there!

I have slotted StopTech rotors with my F30 335i brakes (they fit under OE s.256s with a 10mm spacer), and they've been absolutely fantastic. No cracking, no grooving, just consistent performance and the sight of the e-coating burning off.

Got the tires on finally. Brand new 4S's. Drove it a couple miles home. They were extra slippery. Car sounded and felt more fun than in a long time.

Been watching some car review videos lately through Savage Geese and The Straight Pipes. I was like, "Ah, man I want to try driving a E63 S wagon!" Then I drove my car home and I was like, "Oh, this isn't that bad. This is still pretty fun."

I think I should get some more slippy tires in the future. Slippy tires are fun. I've also not really driven my car much in the last month. It's been about 3 weeks since I've driven it at all. (I was in Europe)

Figured out my brake warning issue. The rear sensor wire was broken off. I replaced the sensor with one from Amazon for $8, and all good!

I will be debating to go with either performance or 335i brakes in a few months down the road. Still have loads to eat off those 330i front discs i installed.
