Just a very few miles to the west of us folks were devastated. Where it really hit it was a brutal ugly nasty bastard. Every bit as bad as you're reading about.

Notes from USA Today:

It is the third-strongest storm on record to hit the United States by barometric pressure.
• It is the fourth-strongest storm on record to hit the U.S. by wind speed.
• It is the strongest October hurricane on record to hit the U.S.
• Michael is the strongest storm in recorded history - a Category 4 - to ever hit the Panhandle.
• Michael is just the fourth major hurricane - Category 3, 4 or 5 - to make landfall in the Florida Panhandle since 1950, joining Eloise (1975), Opal (1995) and Dennis (2005).
Glad you're okay. We got some nastiness but nothing in comparison to stuff I'm seeing around you

Installed the "CF" rear diffuser that I bought from another member on here. Fitment is sort of a pain, I will probably remount it this weekend, but it does add a bit of an aggressive look to the rear end. Gonna measure my cars front clearance on my driveway, if I have enough space a front cf lip is next.

I have to catch up on about 3-4 pages I believe. Just got back from doing European Delivery! Such an amazing experience!!

Thanks Dackelone for all the tips and info!

Did a quick time lapse of the last minutes of the Stelvio Pass run. This was at around 7:45-8am on Saturday. Probably crossed 5 cars in the entire run. Weather was great and the day looked beautiful! The drive was amazing.

Bought a Cobb from fellow member AWNS729( thanks again for your assistance).
Installed it last week a on its first shake down test I promptly blew out my stock charge pipe. Yesterday finally got around to putting it on and the car feels quite a bit more muscular then the PPK tune it had. I'm pleased.

New Contis TS860 225/45/17 winter tires ordered.

Next week, will place an order on TRW M3 upper/lower arms, RSFBs, ST Sway bars (28mm front 15mm rear) + all the hardware (bolts, nuts etc), headlight level and get the car lowered a bit (running stock height on KW V3s) and get it aligned. Will order a bushing removal kit from Amazon to help get those RSFBs out.

Was surprised to see old winter tires are 7 years old, still 6.2mm threads but damn old.

Damn another expensive month.

I did go with Hockenheim Silver! I was just keeping it quiet cause I ordered LBB playing it safe and changed it about 2 months ago once all the Ascari videos surfaced. Had all my friends going crazy about color choice

I love the car. Missing it already, cant wait for it to get to USA.

Compared to my M2 it turns in tighter, feels more planted and pulls just as hard and my M2 had a handful of mods so this is promising.

Only thing is the car felt quiet, but its because my M2 and the 135i are VERY loud. But I will fix that as soon as it gets here and I start modding it.

Valve covers leaking after doing a MILVS install, I went as far as loosening every bolt then retorqueing to spec in the correct order and it's still leaking.

I choose to blame the fel-pro gasket. My valve cover is brand new genuine as of 80k miles (I'm at 123 now). Reallllyyyy hope the valve cover isn't somehow warped.

Ordered a genuine BMW kit. We shall see how this goes

If felpro isn't the OEM then it's the issue. I almost never hear good things about non OEM gaskets anywhere on a car.

Took it to the track today. Summit Point Jefferson this time around (first time there for me). It was a really cool track, lots of interesting corners, and lots of bumps, jumps, and humps. Pretty easy on brakes and was mostly a 4th gear track, but man, the suspension was working HARD. It exposed some new weaknesses in the body control department, especially in the rear end; it just feels squirrelly. I killed an apex cone, too, which was oddly satisfying. I'll have videos up once I get a chance to look at them and put them on the 'Tube.

Nope I believe OEM is Victor-Reinz or Mahle. Either way I just bought genuine BMW so I won't have any issues.

It should've been just fine since I cleaned everything well doing MILVS. But we'll see when I go back in there.
