Seat gets stuck in the forward position
There was a thread on this ages ago incorrectly placed in the 1M section
https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=556939 But whenever I unlatch the drivers seat and put it in the forward position using the catch on the top corner of the seat, it gets stuck there. The solution is force, you throw the seat back forward & back or put a shoulder into it, and it gives a big 'clunk' then goes back as it should. Mine's now doing it almost every time. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or have any idea how to fix it? (They're m-sport powered seats BTW) |

Lol I even have a work order from the PO where he asked the dealer to inspect this. They just sprayed some lube apparently.

I've owned 2 e88 verts and they both did the same thing, when you move the front seat back into the forward position for rear seat access, it "sticks" in place. Must be a feature. I actually kind of like it, when you're in the back seat, you can actually use the seat to help get yourself out of the car when it's in the forward position.

Yeah both of my 1ers have been the same. It's not massively difficult but certainly gives enough resistance to use as leverage getting out from the back like olds350 mentioned.

I (maybe) have the same thing. Manual, non-sport seats. I pull the lever, the seat folds forward and slides forward, but the seat-back won't fold back in place unless I slide the seat-bottom back into place first.

Not a feature... this is a poor design in the release. How do I know? I bent mine this morning (just below my thumb)
https://photos.app.goo.gl/UrxaVw88mebyX6PC6 I can't tell if this pin is the primary pin for the left side or not. Hopefully its not. I guess the good news is that it no longer sticks... Also fun note the wiring harness underneath has cracks in the plastic that is supposed to insulate the wires... similar to the blower motor issue.
