Hello,
Going back in time were we able to purchase the adaptive cruise control feature from the factory? If not, do you all think a retrofit from an e90 would work? this feature would be amazing for long distance traffic. All of the new cars have it now, like the Honda accords. Thanks. |

I've been wondering if the E90 retrofit would work.
You might run into issues because the systems were only coded for E90s, so they come to expect an E90-tuned DSC unit. The car being physically smaller than the system thinks may pose an issue. Don't quote me on this though, purely speculation.

I thought about taking the ACC from my 330i and putting it on the 135i. Fun project for sure...but I would hate to rip up the E90 like that.
