Weight Difference: BMW 135i vs. 335i (Actual Results)
After running a 10 second pass in my 135i, I was really curious what it weighed. So, I found a local weigh station and put it on the scale. I even brought my stock BMW 335i to find out the difference in weight between the two.
135i weighed 3,300lbs without a driver. 335i weighed 3,600lbs without a driver. For more details, like the weight reduction I've already done on the 135i and how much gas each car had, check out my video below. I ripped the 135i at the beginning, so it's worth watching anyways.

Man 135i's are heavy
Is 300lbs a big weight difference performance/feel wise? Does it make the 335's feel much bigger? Sometimes I think I might as well have gotten an e92 M3 if the 135i isn't all that much smaller feeling. Never drove one though, maybe I shouldn't risk it! Great videos btw! Just subbed. |

My needs have changed and I'm also considering an E92 M3 to replace my 1er. I'll leave my Z4 M as my low weight, small, tossable Bimmer. |

Been thinking about engaging in weight savings myself. Should be easy enough to get the car down to 3000-3100 lbs without sacrificing internal comforts. Just have to be willing to toss the seats which I'm not yet as they're still in good condition.
