I can't believe the costs of some of those axlebacks. $3k for an axle back
I would absolutely love a quad but I couldn't imagine paying that amount just for the axleback.

Custom made quads are always an option. I had mine made up for less than $500 (axle-back). The fit is good and sounds great.
But it definitely doesn't look as gorgeous as these 3D/Evolution/RPI etc units when off the car. |

First post, had to chime in on this one!
Just picked up our new 1er a few weeks back and keen to get cracking on a few mods, waiting for delivery of some AR downpipes, Cobb FMIC & Cobb AccessPort. Now just been trying to figure out the ideal quad exhaust! To be honest everything I have listed to (I know it is very subjective) seems to pail in comparison to the Eisenmann Quad. This is a clip of a setup similar to mine: This is another clip from southern bm (only gets on it @ 2:55) |

Hey guys I know this is late but does anyone know if the exhaust setup that goes in front of the battery box (closer to the rear bumper) would fit with a 1m bumper and diffuser setup?

The 1M exhaust as you have described needs not just the bumper & diffuser but also the battery 1M battery tray, 1M battery, extended battery leads and the charcoal cannister moved a bit.
I have just done a quad for my 1M conversion check out my build log: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1446901 Or for the full 1M conversion: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1069755 |
