MHD install error and google play high risk

Hey guys

tried to install MHD last night! (first time google play user) got the flasher module.............then tried to purchase map 1 and I got an error saying Your order was declined because it was considered high-risk HOW DO I GET AROUND THIS?!?!

it said wait 30mins to 7 days! waited 1 hour and still wouldn't work. logged in and out tried to take my card off google play and re-enter the details and nothing, same error.

Also I tried to back up the stock map (car is already at stock map because I had COBB before and reset it back to factory) and it didn't do anything except say connect and came up with a saved file. Doesn't it usually take 30mins plus to back up the stock map?

Any help would be amazing guys!!!!!

Try giving google a call to rectify

I had the same issue when I flashed MHD.. fixed it by doing the following:

1. Update credit card details in Google account

2. Update Address details in Google account and make sure it matches credit card details

3. Change google account password

4. Call google (they have a 1800 number somewhere) and beg them to fix your account so you can obtain more boost for your car.

From memory they told me they reset my account and that I had to wait 4-6 hours for it to be effective. I waited ~30 mins tried again and it worked.

What a headcase it was last night, was so excited to give it a go then ERROR!
I did number 1 & 2 last night (in your steps)
Just did 3 and on the phone on hold to google now
Hopefully by the time I finish work and get home I can tune my car

Haha this always happens to Apple users trying to use MHD on a new device they bought specifically for flashing.

I have an android phone and MHD was the first app I ever paid for. Added my paypal to my account and flashed my car with no issues. I think its just an issue for when people start up a new account and immediately start buying up a lot of stuff.

I got locked out of my acct 3 times before it finally worked! Very frustrating.

Thats what I thought too, however I've had my account since 2007 or so and have even made paid purchases from the Play Store previously but still got the error

Backing up the stock file takes less than 3 seconds on some cars

Freaked me out too as I thought something went wrong.

I tried PayPal initially and got the error. Ended up using credit card in the end in case there were more security validation hoops to jump through through PayPal.. can't confirm for sure though

While we're on the topic.. I forgot to backup my stock map before flashing, is there any way to get it back? I noticed there is still a "flash back to stock" button so I'm hoping the app has saved it somewhere..

I was told if you don't back up your stock file it will download the latest off the servers for
your dme, never tried it but

Can always go back to stock with WinKFP (Part of BMW Standard tools).

I have no idea why the DME takes so long to write with MHD. If I flash the DME with WinKFP it only takes a couple minutes (either with DCAN or ICOM) and that's writing the entire thing.

Ok good to know! hahaha I kept backing up the software and it said connected and everything was fine, and just showed me that a file was saved so thought it didn't work haha

Will try to flash the stage 1 map after work today!

I spoke to google and they said they will reset my account which will take 4 to 6 hours, hopefully by the time I finish work and get home its working good

Apparently a work around to all these issues is to simply purchase playstore credit in giftcard form and then use it that way. No verification for large purchase required

Which mhd flash for just a rear exhaust and dci?

Or do you need downpipes and intercooler and full exhaust?
