Haha, nah its N55 Mids, Y-Pipe and 135 axle back with the butterfly valve open. Got it all plus installation for the same price as a Performance exhaust. The sound is EPIC ! Never knew this car could make such a sound
Will be making some proper videos this weekend hopefully |

Not really. Just kept the first section of the n52 mids to the first bolt and clamp otherwise i would have had to cut the flange from the down pipes to change the to the size of the n55s, that would have cost a bit so this option was easier. Just made the cut. Welded on the n55s mids and everything else just bolted on. The exhaust shop did it in an hour.

Yes definitely keen for a meet. There are quite a few meets happening in Melbourne lately. Maybe we can all meet up at one? A big meet is coming up for all types of cars on July 3rd. PM me if you want the details. Would be great to see some other BMW 1 series.

It's definitely not too raspy, was raspier initially but after a while it settles. There is very minor drone when going uphill or when on throttle camping around 2-2.5k rpms but when coasting or driving normally, nothing. Still very acceptable for daily driving.

I'm contemplating either a muffler delete or resonator delete to get a little more sound. Videos of the muffler delete I've seen sound really good so I'm leaning that direction. |
