Max Fuel Trim No Codes
My fuel trims are maxed out but I have no codes. The car idles rough and gets worse when I turn on the AC. Also have a loss of power but can still drive around town, just takes a little longer to get up to speed. I have tried the following:
Spark plugs Coils Reset adaptations Replaced 4 O2 sensors MAF and MAP sensors Ignition Coils Not sure what else to do. The exhaust note sounds a little different, kind of fluttery. Could an exhaust leak cause this? |

I don't think I can help you it would help others if you have more info about your car.
N54/N55? Mods? etc. I have similar symptoms and would like to see how this plays out. |

Since my last post: 1. New index 12 injectors from dealer 2. New spark plugs 3. Techron in cylinder#5, compression at 90, was at 80. 4. Found miswire on DME harness x02, pin 19 was in 21 (not used). Wire controls O2 sensors after the cat. 5. Found that disconnecting coils 1-3 deactivate BANK2 O2 control and coils 4-6 deactivate BANK-1 O2. Is this normal ? Was getting codes for mixed up O2 sensor before the cat (2c24). I haven't gotten it in the last 5 restarts. I attached pictures of the compression test, mixture readings Also, notice how the additional mixtures are zero. |

Solved: installed COBB access port with stage1 tune FMIC stock throttle. This tune corrected the fuel mixture to -6 on BANK1 and BANK2. Car runs a lot better and I'm able to pass smog. Current mods are BMS DCI, FMIC, catback exhaust.
This car was previously FBO with JB4 tune, port injection, catless down pipes. |

Those compression numbers are horrendous. Even if it runs fine now, a N54 should show 170-180 psi (~12.5 bar) across the board.
Also why would you go swapping wires on a connector? If the car ran fine earlier and changed to this state without touching the connector, then there's no reason to suspect it's wired wrong.
