Looking for DP's and possible sponsorship!

I am on the market for down pipes and although I have the Akra Evo system sans downpipes, swallowing a $1650 pill for their downpipes is hard for me to swallow, especially after hearing that their fitment isn't perfect. I am dying to purchase the ESS software but am looking for the best fitment/ design and at the right price before I do so. **Open for sponsorship on both used and new DP's as long as the price is fair. I will order a set within the next few days regardless, but am just throwing this out there!

Used set of AR DP's found. Will most likely go this route... Anyone recommend any other DPs in comparison to the AR's? I have heard they have the best fitment...

If i would go for DP i would go for AR, plenty examples on the net from satisfied customers.

carchrism.. from your experience, whats the difference between the Akra down pipes and the AR ones?

sound and power wise?

cause i have the AR ones and it seems like it's quieter than the akra dps.

power wise it seems like theres a bit of a low end loss?

Are you comparing the same Cat? AR is 3" which people say it contribute some loss low down, and the Akra is stock size. Mine is not overly loud but that's probably because I have my valve close most of the time.

AR, and have the ceramic coated verson. It's less than half the price and no one seems to have problem fitting the ARs. The bellow bend in the akrapovic however means that the exhaust should stay align at different temperature.

Hello People on this thread. Ill be honest with all of you. I live in Fl and on my free time I install car parts. Just as a hobby. I have installed almost all DP brands for N54/55 engines (except race land). To my knowledge and experience, BMS makes ones at a ridiculously good price and the fitment is impeccable.

both are catless. My AR is the catless version. My friend's Akra DPs are also catless.

No Problem - had a 28 lap run recently on track and the highest we saw was 135. I have motul 300v chrono oil though, so I am not sure if that would have made any difference.

Didn't have a chance to visit you whilst at Singapore, too busy eating chilli crabs.

That would have been fun! I live in Australia, in Queensland, so our summer is hot and humid. We were 29 most of the day so not a cold day, but didn't feel too humid though.
