When does the second water pump go out?

This happened in a nice, safe, residential area. I sometimes wonder what would have happened had I been on the freeway... how about at a location with no shoulder... or even a steep bridge (of which there are many near where I live).

Well, this is NOT reassuring. I used to have nightmares about being caught in my underwear in a public place. NOW, I'll be dreaming about being caught on a bridge when my water pump goes kerflooey.
