Go figure? A year from now everyone will probably be wanting black instead of chrome.

As for the work on your grill RachelS, good job to your hubby! No one will ever notice those minor details and if they do ... oh well!
Euh there's a big difference!
Normaly the black is cheap because it's of plastic and then the chrome s very nice.
But you are talking about the shadowline highglow: 545 euro!

So you've got black: 0 euro
chrome: ? euro
shadowline highglow: 545 euro

That's pretty nice, especailly for a whopping $7.

I might try it out, my question is if I wanted to remove it later on, would it cause any damage to the grill?

Trends has always been like that. If its black, everybody wants chrome. If its chrome, everybody wants black. Just like cell phones. Black cellphones are coming back, because almost all phones are silver. An example would be the special edition matt black motorola razr phone. Check it out if you have time.

Hm... looks pretty good if you ask me.

So you just buy the roll, cut and stick? I might be down for this.

Good job!! Looks very nice.

I want do it as well, but the door molding shown in your link (Autobarn) looks very thick. Is that the case, or it's just the picture?

Honestly, NAY! It's a 325. If you wanted it to look like a 330 then YEAH! Does it increase the performance in some way?

Do you like it? If you do, then that's all that matters. In the end we all have our own E90 to love.

Somewhere on this site mentioned that a 3 isn't worth owning without Navi and Premium Package. Sounds like a bimmer owner with a merc soul to me.

I gave it a try myself just to see how it looks in person. I only put it on 2 lines just to get an idea of what it would look like and at first glance it looks nice, but it looks rather cheesy IMO.

But like others said, you cant even tell from a distance. Choice is yours.
