Almost reasonable... almost.

How are you meeting these guys, maybe that's the issue.

If the answer is "at a bar", perhaps its time to rethink.

This sounds like a burn, but its actually a really great point.

EDIT:

Sans maybe the fitted suits part. I don't think Sara needs to meet that.

I think this is just a test plot for a new sitcom maybe?

@Sara did you not also say in the post with the pic you reposted with Billy Ray your Mom has been married 4 times and is young IE not yet 50? Damn that's a lot of marriages especially factoring in the tidbit of always dating as you said
Your list from what I could read is interesting I stopped at number one as WTH does that have to do with anything? My deceased uncle Tony (not real name) wore fitted suits daily and he was career criminal, nice guy to me not so much to others.
Maybe the list Billup was suggesting had more to do with deep down intrinsic values and virtues not the superficial?
Personally anyone who did not assume your child was being watched while you frolic about is a little naive, not saying watched appropriately but watched.
What makes your Mom think the L man is single, does not sound like the type bet he's luring some other young thing down his path of self destruction, IE family number 4.

That's exactly the point of the exercise. I've helped many people through a few coaching strategies, and they are happier than they've ever been, and more confident in themselves. She is too materialistic, and I don't have the willpower to help anymore. It's a revolving door. Let her live her crazy life of drama.

Not meant for cruelty, I was just making an observation based on what I know and I've seen.

Here I see people in their 700 dollar shoes complaining about the price of food, and how their rent keeps going up. I've tried to understand this but...

I was in a cars and coffee sitting next to a table to some Ferrari blokes who kept talking about some parts for their cars. I couldn't stop laughing because the girls in the table were openly googling their worth.

I know this all seems hypocritical coming from me, you probably think my biggest worry in the world is how to spend the money the hubby makes but when we started our lives together, we had absolutely nothing. Our flat was tiny, we made extra payments for it to get ahead, we learned how to renovate, my interest in restorations and antiques was born from the sheer need for cheap stuff.

Sure, now we are all grown up. He's made great leaps in his career, my dead daddy didn't hurt us financially, but we both know we made it all together. He doesn't bitch about me bringing home extra mouths to feed and I don't mind him taking off for weeks for work.

I still keep a tight watch over money, I consider spending it on stuff stupid, and the finer things in life for me is time. I get to cook with the kids, roll on a couch reading a book in my yoga pants and I don't have to think for one second my world would collapse if he dumped me tomorrow.

Your work ethic and ability to budgeting is an attribute that is few and far between.

The girls I know? They complain if, god forbid, they work an 8 hour day. One is getting married and was sobbing...sobbing and in tears because she was "only" getting $75,000 from her parents for her wedding where the costs are expected to be around $65,000. She was legitimately upset that she'd only get to keep $10k.

This is the same person who complains about not being able to pay her credit card bills and will then go on vacation for 2 weeks.

Sad how many people are like that.

EDIT: lol just saw OP's "list", she'd fit in well around here. Expensive tastes and as engaging to talk to as a rock and relies on another man's money.

Look I'm not rich. My family does great. I live in a house that's paid for. I dont have a mortgage. I'm saving up for a house I have no idea where I want to live. I dont want to rent. I've been hit with a lot of set backs. Ex: Not working for nearly a year due to pregnancy and birth. Attorney fees for child custody and support have set me back $5,600 and still billing as it is not settled. Tuition for her alone sets me back $1,000 a month as well as other infant needs. I dont get help, at the same time I dont ask for it either. I pay everything myself. Child, Tuition, car, insurance, horses, etc. Its not easy as a single parent. I need a break and need to get out and if that means a date, I'll take it. I havent bought a pair of nice shoes in a year. I used to be that girl and buy $1,100.00 pair of shoes but when I got pregnant I cut that out. Things changed DRASTICALLY. I am doing better than I thought I'd be.

My wedding cost 100€. My dad would've paid for any sort of dream wedding but I thought spending a cent extra was stupid. Because he knows me, have gave me his mothers old sewing machine. It was our last houses bathrooms sink holder.

I come from a family who has had their share of luck. To me it was more than important to separate myself from them and make it on my own.

It felt good to write the first check I've ever made to buy my car. It feels great to know my coffee table has seen 200 years of life and that because of the few hours i put into the project it'll see an other hundred easily.

I'm very well aware Sara and I come from different universes. I'm also aware none of the men in my life would've traded me for her.

That has to be the most superficial and disgusting list I've ever seen. Credit score? Successful family? hahaha nice MUST Haves.

If that is a reflection of who you are you need therapy or you should just go find a sugar daddy and blow him for cash as that is how materialistic you're coming off as.

This is what your list should look like:

1. Comes from a good and loving family.
2. Close with his siblings/parents/friends
3. Intelligent
4. Hard Working
5. Respectful
6. Great sense of humor
7. No drugs/smoking
8. Shows kindness
9. Passionate
10. Someone I can grow old together with

I'm not saying I have it all figured out, being with someone takes work but I don't think you have any idea how to be with someone who is normal.

My wife and I have built what we have TOGETHER through hard work, long hours, and great communication. Not by checking off some magical superficial list.

Done with this thread…girl you are a train wreck and I will warn my son about girls like you.
