ROFL. That thing reads like somebody translated the original C&D article in babelfish from the original English to Klingon, to Swahili, back to English. Yikes...

Dear Lord, just look at this article on the same site, regarding the tii performance parts.
I'd swear they do a double babelfish on it. |

Also, you can juxtapose phrases with rather interesting results.
From abaft the roll in the spacious efery an almost microscopic streak similar the turbocharged instrument helps a destiny to forgo turning ward the radio plententous similar and rectilinear streak succeed. Alrighty, put that in your pipe and smoke it. But, tell me first so I can leave the room. I haven't laughed this hard in some time.

This car will never be this filthy ever again!

Your right, definately lost in translation apart from the important 0-60 & qtr mile bits. Here are a few picks of my baby at the dealership - yes it's filthy. I have tried to photoshop the last one to more closely show the colour I actually saw in limited day-light conditions. I also checked the front right wheel arch and clearly see an oil cooler:thumbup: |

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I think I actually peed a little when I read this. My faves:
"...to waft the 135i..." "...an almost microscopic streak between solid and harsh..." "...and aimed in a rectilinear streak..." Dear God, that is just too good!! |

Thanks Mad Chemist for the info on the oil cooler that is good news that you have seen as it which confirms at least we will all be getting one with oil coolers....this surely means that worldwide they will be getting them as well
How many miles had it done when you picked it up? |

Mine had just 4 miles on the clock.
I manged to put another 180 on the clock this weekend and was getting ~27 mpg. I supsect when I fill the car up with optimax and the engine has loosened a bit, I'll be pretty close to BMWs figures (31 mpg), which is good. My e46 M3 returned 25.5 mpg! |

Nice one i hope mine is as low as 4 miles....as long as it is under 10/15 miles i will be happy
Very pleasing about 27mpg but then you probably have been quite gentle for the 180 miles you have done so far so i think once you have run the beauty in it will be lower 20's but then you had an M3 so that does not matter and to be honest i cannot believe anyone would buy the 135i to get a good mpg Enjoy!! |

I agree with your comments UK135i about not buying the car for good mpg, but I still think the mpg will end up ~30. My M3 started at 22-23 and ended up ~26.
The thing about the 135i is that there is so much low down torque that the turbos are spinning pretty fast at low rpm and low throttle opening. So your probaly eating into that mpg figure even when your running the car pretty gently over the runin period. Also a few blasts to the red zone a couple of times a week (possible a day) probably won't impact too much on the old fuel economy when she's run in. As an ownership prospect, the 135i has already saved me £200 per year on insurance and should also save me ~20% in my anual fuel, and as everything else in life still keeps going up, this is not a bad thing! |

Thats very interesting and good news about what you send about the mpg then because the 135i will surely have quite a bit better figures than a 135i
I especially like your last paragraph about how everything is going up in the country...fuel is a joke all over the UK how expensive it is and everything else to live. But i have to say i was pleasantly suprised when i was told how much my insurance would be with my new 135i Look forward to hearing more about your thoughts on the car later in the week Cheers again for all your help |
