Dan, Care to elaborate on the issues you've been experiencing? I have a squeaky arm-rest and a LHS mirror with a mind of it's own. I'm worried about getting the dealer re-flash as I'm worried about getting more turbo lag. WRT the jb3, the install has very easy - you've just got to be careful with locating a few clips etc. My only issue was a PnP harness problem, which Terry at BMS sorted (not uncommon, by the way). I use Momentum (old Tesco 99) and have a K&N drop-in. I run map 7 and haven't had any with problems with codes (I have the BT cable), so I believe I should be ~ 350 WHP (420 bhp at the crank). The car is just so much quicker than stock. You've just got to be careful in the 1st , 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear (when damp). Cheers, Mad. |

360 whp doesn't seem too shabby. I'm amazed you were getting 340 with just the old JB+. WRT JB3, it's been faultless since the early teething problems. Terry was his usual helpful self and I got a replacement JB3 just about a week after we last posted. The car seems to running stronger than ever. I just drop it down to map 5 when its over 23-25 C, and all's good. I think I surprised a new Focus RS last week. He started going for it and I caught him easily and pretty much annihilated him from then on. He looked pretty shocked, then drove off cutting up everyone else on the road and undertaking a bunch of cars - must have got to him!!! Anyway, take it easy, Mad. Take it easy, Mad. |

Mad,
I've so many issues from grinding rear caliper to rattling dashbord to engine management light coming on also a few other things. Just had a call from the MD of Stephen James BMW and he has agreed to give me my money back. Already I have contacted 2 other dealers both 135i's now in a lil tight spot as both are 2009 and great spec BUT one is an auto the other manual. My heart is always set on the manual but the colour combination of Black and lemon boston leather and walnut trip looks sooooo nice BUT its and auto. Can anyone give me some positives about auto ? ? All the best, Dan |

The best 1/4 miles have been done using auto
The auto's get power to the floor much better than manual. Unless your good with feathering the throttle on a manual I suppose thats why I eat so many tires Last edited by neil@JuicedUpTuning; 08-19-2010 at 06:03 PM.. |

1Morepower,
Sorry to hear about all your problems. Hopefully the next time it'll be trouble free. I love my MT but as Neil says, the AT is very popular in the US and they put down better and more consistent times at the strip! Having said that, the MT would be a better choice for the UK roads IMO. Mad. |

http://www.juiceduptuning.co.uk/shop...oduct.asp?ID=8 If your wondering about sucking in hot air then this has been tested...heres the summary... The short answer is yes, they will ingest hotter air, but a lot more of it. The end result is actually cooler air entering the engine. This is because you are reducing the huge pressure drop across the factory airbox, dramatically improving the efficiency of the compressors. The BMS intakes also significantly reduce impeller speed improving reliability. heres the detail... http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showth...highlight=myth |

I aldo has a BMC repacement panel filter droped in as I still thick that the standard airbox is not too bad.... Imran confirmed this and these guys have done alot of these cars and done before and after test with no signifigant gains... Next step at the end of the month... front mount and down pipes and remaped to around 420 : ) cant wait.. Whats your views on methanol injection? |

Hi, please post a nice pic. If it is really nice, maybe photoshop expert Alpine, can borrow it for a 1m render. He seems to be doing this to every color he can scrounge up.

Hi Jakk. Welcome. We are a couple of the rare 125M owners in the UK. We should consider ourselves special (but not in that way lol). You'll be very VERY happy with it, just like me.
