128i Autocross Build - Do I need a rear sway bar?
Experts - I'm prepping a 128i for autocross (STX) and I just installed the Bilstein PSS10s - they feel great although I havent taken her out to an autox event yet. Based on digging through realoem.com and the boards, my 128i does not have a rear sway bar at all - its the non-sport/non-M sport model. I'm thinking of upgrading the front sway to the E93 M3 FSB and just adding the rear sway that comes with the 128i when equipped with the M sport package - its a 12MM bar.
If I dont need to, I wont add a rear sway - its obviously one of the more complicated mods. Thanks for any advice yall can offer, http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...34&hg=33&fg=45 |

On this car the FSB is going to have a more pronounced effect. But a rear sway will help as well, I wouldn't advise adding either sways before increased spring rates.
