Scammer: y-Bobby

I bought a BMW Performance Grill from y-Bobby from his part out thread:

I sent him payment on 5/4/12, which he acknowledged receiving and said he would ship the next day 5/7/12.

On 5/15 instead of receiving the item in the mail, I received a PM from him saying he never received my payment. I promptly forwarded him the payment confirmations and posted on his thread on same day. Bobby responded back with an apology and claimed that it was shipped out...

Per the private message he sent me on 5/17 (screenshot attached), he said that i should receive it by next wednesday (5/23). Bobby is located in New Mexico and i'm in Socal so shipping shouldn't take very long.

I have sent him 2 PMs requesting tracking information, but have not received any response.

I was an idiot and thought I would save him paypal fees so i paid via personal gift on paypal (figured it wasn't a huge amount if I got scammed), so I guess I'm out 50 dollars.

that sucks real bad man, call paypal. they can do something about that 50 dollars, it happened to me when i sent a gift and i got it back!

Sorry to hear that but I agree. I bought the CF engine cover. Didnt look too bad in the pic but upon receipt it was a piece of shit. Yellow-green (1000x worse than the pics, must have been an OLD pic), engine crud all over, and cracks all over. I just gave him a negative mark on the itrader b/c I assume he is long gone. The good news...I kept it b/c ER no longer sells them, so I refurbished the CF engine cover and it looks brand new.

Dont buy shit from this guy, although he is long gone by now. Lesson learned. I hope nobody bought his car.

That sucks he got you too.... I'm pretty sure he's long gone too, thats why I posted his paypal email address so if anyone googles it this thread might come up, he has used it to sell stuff on a couple other forums.... I debated also posting the guys first and last name associated with the paypal account, but decided against it.

Yep, posted in other forums huh (?) I also debated on what to do but what's the point? I wanted a CF engine cover, knew I could re-furbish it, and it was at my risk. GL on your modding.
