Maybe 1whp and a lot lighter on the wallet....

Oh sorry AA for people calling you out on your blatant 3.5" copy of AFE. How could we not see how you exhaust has the same exact design?

The welds look good, but unless your at a similar price point your just making an overly expensive ripoff with a diameter that won't make a noticeable power difference. AFE doesn't have horrid customer service like you do either. Now why would anyone purchase your exhaust again?

Quite a few factory exhausts come with NCC (noise cancellation chambers) inside of the pan. After opening up a few factory exhausts we decided to find a way to implement that design into our systems. Making them internal such as stock would increase weight and would defeat the purpose of building a lighter, better performing system.

With performance, sound and weight in mind. We decided to install an NCC on the outside to provide a light weight system that performs and provides great sound through out the entire power band, not just wide open.

Our exhaust can not be compared to the AFE system in terms of performance or quality.

If anyone has any questions feel free to post.

p.s. Noise Cancellation Chambers are not new technology, they have been in the automotive industry for quite some time. We are the first company to use them on a BMW exhaust system and now have implemented them onto our second system.
To answer the pricing questions: forum intro pricing will be out at the end of the month with the US release of the exhaust. The first batch of exhaust were pre-ordered for international customers. For anymore information please feel free to pm me.

I am not sure where you are getting your info from. We have excellent customer service and provide quality products, if price is your only criteria then you are obviously in the wrong thread...

Some enthusiasts would rather have a quality product that performs and the confidence that they are not purchasing junk.

If you feel so inclined to call our product a "blatant" copy, consider it copied and improved.

If you have a personal matter to deal with Active Autowerke feel free to call us/me at 800-830-3596 if not thanks for viewing.

Ryan will post more details soon. Intro pricing will be released once we have a few systems in stock.

What is the benefit of going from 2.5'' from the turbos into a 3'' at the axle, into a 2.5'' Y at the tips? No resonance or backpressure with that setup? Thanks in advance.

Dude what are you talking about AA has always had excellent customer service and products and for you to just go off on a rant without backing up your facts is not right. AA is a quality company and have always stood by their products, technology, and service. This is not the proper thread to go off on a company when they are simply releasing a new product and informing the people who are interested in other/new options.

AA makes some of the best quality products on the market, its just the customer service that was a major pain in the ass with my friends old supercharger kit for his E46.

I think its very relevant that this is a blatant copy of the AFE exhaust, and from the other post its pretty obvious that others think so as well.

This exhaust sounds really nice and the quality is second to none. I have seen and heard this exhaust in person and it impresses me.

Exhaust looks great guys

side note: a big LOL to everyone posting negative feedback on this system then getting owned themselves.

Seeing as how the undercarriage of the 135 is so spacious, we should be able to have at LEAST 100 unique-in-appearance exhaust options! [/sarcasm]

Hey,

Our system goes from the factory Y into a 3.5" axle back. The exhaust goes down to about ~3" at the tips.

The original design was fully 3.5"; however, for aesthetics it became hard to make the tips fit well and look good once installed (on the vehicle) using a 3.5" Y. So we had to go down to a 3" Y.

After the design change we tested the system for back pressure and power loss, there was no difference.

The production exhaust performs exactly the same as the prototype with the decrease right before the tips.

The NCC (Noise Cancellation Chamber) is what takes care of drone.

So it looks like the hardest part for fitting a big pipe is clearing the diff and rear control arm, looks like plenty of space otherwise. Wonder how people will route the plumbing when people start getting into the 700whp+ range, I've seen Supras with 4" and 5" exhaust. This is assuming it still terminates in the factory location. Nice job by the way, I will buy this exhaust as soon as there is full 3" downpipes to a 3.5" merge/midpipe. I don't won't to be stuck with a factory flange and then change to the 3.5" when it comes out.
