Pretty close indeed! I believe 29th was the last production day. Check the 1M registry sticky thread's posts around those dates to see if yours left the line on the very last or penultimate day.

EDIT: Actually see this page, post 586:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...544689&page=27

The last one left on 29th to its destination in Latin America if that is true.

Hmm, wonder if that's how you'll find out you're colorblind? just kidding. I'd try one of the other vin decoders, there are a few out there on the internet and some have more than others. That is weird though.

It's not wrong, it's just using that European power figure - kW, not horsepower. So, if you look up a 135, you won't see 300 either. I just looked up my car, which has the same 320 hp as the M235i, and it's listed on there as 240, which is the correct kW number. That being said, it's not a very good site of the various VIN decoders.

Apparently my 2011 135i was built on August 23, 2010. Interesting.

Nice find @Artemis

I know if you enter the instrument panel's secret(hidden) menu... you can also find out your car's EXACT birthday. day/month/year

Another way to check your full car spec in English (build date, options, etc.) and save everything to PDF:
decoder.bvzine.com

https://bmwvin.co.uk is a new Vin decoder and compared to the other ones it also shows Mileage Central Data - the last dealership visit so very useful when buying a used car to compare the current miles and the last BMW database entry.

Thanks. Checked it and it shows effectively a recently logged mileage. I'm over 11K kms and the report shows 7K kms.

I'll add your info to the first post and credit you for it.

EDIT: the referenced link does no longer feature a BMW decoder (totally unrelated website). Hence, I removed it from the first post.

That's cool. Thanks for posting. In case anyone is wondering, it works on U.S. (and I'm assuming all) vehicles, not just UK VINs.

Pretty cool, as it also shows whether oem retrofits are succesfully added to the Vehicle Order list (VO).

Unlike the VIN decoders in the first post, the Russian one you propose charges money.
