This is a USA car (I'm in Canada) originally bought by a US Navy seaman while on duty in Spain for delivery in Jacksonville Fl.

Ban, I noticed you have Active Steering on your 135i. How do you like it? I've read where some people like it and others don't. How does it compare to your SO's 1er, assuming she doesn't have it?

I actually like it a lot. At slow speeds you feel the difference immensely.

Just in comparison hers is running stock wheels and tires and the steering wheel feels 2-3 times heavier than mine running the wider apex with 235s.

I have pushed my 135 around in the local shenanigans area and it does tighten up with speed, feedback is lees on mine so it's a trade off many would probably not like.

The steering on my 135i feels similar to the M2, that's why to me it's wasn't a shocker cause I got the M2 first.

It's amazing how affordable (at first glance, I'm sure inflation has something to say about that) these cars were. Such good packages, at an okay price, but so few were sold here.

Oh well, it makes it that much more special...

I always thought the 1er was well worth the price, even when new. Great little car!

Edit: wasn't that the name of an old Mazda? "GLC?" lol
