BMW Performance Exhaust installed w/ 3.0 Black DiMisa Tips
Finally got my BMW Performance Exhaust installed this weekend. I had my local machine shop (http://profabracecars.com/) do all the work. They cut off the OE tips, and installed some black 3.0 DiMisa tips (http://www.dimisatips.com/) that are normally fitted for e92's. Good news, they look great! Some quick iPhone pics below.
  The exhaust sounds good (this is a 128i), but could still could use a little more growl. Perhaps adding the intake helps complete the sound? Not sure if our 128i mid-pipe is resonated or not. May be interested in cutting that out as well. Overall, very happy with the BMW PE and aftermarket tips. Recommend this exhaust & mod to anyone! Last edited by jayson; 04-08-2012 at 03:25 PM.. |
