CSF vs Wagner Performance Evo 1

I'm looking to upgrade my FMIC as it was apparently damaged by a heavy branch strike by the previous owner. I've narrowed my choices down to the CSF and the Wagner Performance Evo 1. Both are advertised as being very straightforward installs with no trimming for a 135is and both are priced about the same. I'm not currently running any tunes, but at most I'd go to a MHD stage 1, so nothing crazy. At the moment, I daily drive this car and require reliability.

Wagner publishes a fair amount of data regarding pressure drops and temperature changes, but CSF does not, so evaluating them on data alone is difficult. The CSF is also pretty new, so user feedback is also limited.

In any case, asking for the group's opinion and whether anyone has direct experience with the CSF.

I can 100% assure you the CSF requires trimming. It's huge.

Both are really good option!

Are you considering the Wagner EVO I Competition? If so thats a easy winner.

If you are comparing the performance to CSF, its going to be very close.
You cant go wrong with either one

I was limiting my options to fmic that use the factory connections, but I'm getting a better understanding of the options out there and it seems that going with a silicone coupling isn't horribly difficult to install, so I'm willing to consider now more options with stepped cores being the preference.

Is the Wagner Evo 2 Comp worth the extra money over the Evo 1 Comp? How does the ATM fmic rank in there?

When it's said that the CSF and Wagner Evo 1 Perf are about the same, how are we measuring that? Simply IAT or pressure drop to?

For a stage 1 application, I'll stick with EVO I over EVO II

When comparing intercoolers, i look at IAT, pressure air drop, recovery, weight, etc...
