Did I screw up? Trying to put the rear inlet back in with motor back in car..
Ok, put new motor in, and now I need to put the stock rear inlet in.
I have the valve cover off and can slip it behind the motor after disconnecting the tranny mount and jacking the tranny up, but the 90 degree bend doesn't seem like it can possibly slip any further down. I think there is turbo coolant pipe in the way. Any ideas or know how I can do this? The Bentley doesn't even mention it |

Got it. Valve cover off Transmission Mount rubber isolators unbolted Jack transmission up to push back of motor off of firewall Remove bracket that rear turbo wastegate vacuum hose is clipped to (used a Torx bit and a vise grip. Couldn't fit ratchet in) Unbolt turbo oil line at bolt side. Flex section allows it to be turned out of the way Inlet slips right in..... |
