2009 135i Convertible - E88 Upper Rear Shock Mount

Hi All, I need to replace the rear bump stops on my E88 and cant seem to figure out how to access the upper shock mount for the rear shocks. Does anyone know how to do this on the convertible or have a picture? I cant find much of anything on this. Thank you!

Garage List
Start with remove the scuff plate then remove the trunk liners on each side

Oh ok, so you go in thru the trunk, not via the opening for the top.

Awesome, thank you for the help! Now I have the confidence to tear the trunk apart to find the mount!

Good luck getting the trunk liner back in place, those plastic pins break easily but pretty cheap to replace.

IMHO, the plastic pop-up clips were pretty easy. I had problems with the struts that hold that movable plastic piece that hosts the convertible top. I'm not sure if you need to remove them to reach the RSM's though.
