What's the goal for the rear fenders? I see a piece for the sideskirt, but will there be a piece for the rear bumper as well? Looking at the molding of the rear part of the widening and how far it runs down on to the rear fascia I'm suspecting the answer is no. Thinking as well that these will likely be fiberglass, is that correct?

Are there any concept sketches you could share with the community?

Any ETA on the availability of the rears?

Keen to get them and the fronts ordered as soon as they are available as this will allow me the wider rubber I need to be able I deal with the power I am now generating.

ShocknAwe It is actually one piece. This saves us from having several molds which increase pricing by a lot and yes it will be made out of fiberglass. I should have side view shots hopefully by tomorrow.

Not a huge update but they are making the lines to flow with the side skirts and the rear bumper.

project jayden > How are the inner wheel-wells going to be handled/extended? What rear bumper is this going to fit (1M or custom)?

Looks as though this is being built off of the stock 135i rear bumper/quarters/skirts

TUN3D Just like any liberty walk or rocket bunny style kit you will have to cut the OEM fenders. We have the 135i OEM bumper and it will fit any OEM width style bumper. Don't think it will perfectly work with the 1M since i believe those bumpers are wider than OEM although you could probably modify it to work.

TUN3D we probably won't mass produce a fender liner kit. We are going to try and mess around with the OEM one first before looking into custom options.

project jayden > The OEM 135i liners are way short (no wiggle room, I tried). 1M's use the E92 M3 liners which are wider. Will still require some modification, but a better base overall.

Good stuff man! You going rivets on those bad boys or bondo?

TUN3D great info! Thank you! I will most likely do both. Rivnut them on and then have them bondo over it so they don't show.

N5tuner's kit will most likely be less aggressive because they are creating a lip on there's to match the lip of their front fenders (or any OEM fender for that matter) so that the rears flows well with the rest of the car.

The oem one is cloth. The 1m one is wider and hard plastic and probably a better base as you can cut and extend jt

I really hate the OEM cloth/fiber/whatever the heck they are liners. Glad to hear the 1M liner is plastic.

Front wide fenders are great as there's no bullshit to them. 15mm extra width lets you square up tyre and bring down the offsets to about a +30. No front bumper or side skirt issues. Great for track work. I'd save this rear work for drag racing only (personally)

I wish their front end wide body kit (performance style one) has the same "functionality" as the OEM ones where you need extra piping for the "cold air package" to direct air into the brakes. Otherwise, that front end + widebody = winner.

So we are debating on how to end the rear piece. Which ones do you guys prefer? 1 or 2?

a spin off on option #2, but that ends less abruptly in the back. Some kind or arc with a diminishing radius, if you know what I mean.
Another option is bringing the back portion, all the way to the bottom of the quarterpanel, for a better visual effect.

Or even if you could make it continue all the way until the end of the rear bumper, I know thats a lot more bonding and work but might look cleaner

R6EATER I'm just afraid it will look to VW Beetle-ish if they make it go all the way down. LOL
