adaptive xenon headlight bulbs?
I have a 2012 135i with the adaptive xenon headlights but the bulbs look like they’re yellow and halogen.
What bulbs do you guys have or recommend to replace the OEM one? I can’t seem to find a good source for what kind of bulb to use. A lot of threads are saying they are h7/h8 and either halogen or HID. But other places are saying the HID bulbs will melt the projector as well. Any ideas here? Not looking to retrofit or replace the entire headlight. Just want a plug and play bulb. Ended up buying these and they are definitely more white than the original stock bulbs that were on the car for 80k miles. The angel eyes/halos are still yellow though, not sure how I would change that.

My understanding of the headlight is that the H8 bulb powers the angel eyes and a D1S bulb is the xenon high/low beam. Therefore, I'm confused whether your H8 hasn't changed much for you or if your headlights are not xenon.
