A buddy of mine has the Juicebox (awful name BTW) and likes it a lot. He's an educated owner too, having owned a big-turbo A4 and Evo in the past.
For $180 for 25hp/35tq, it's a pretty good deal. |

Exactily, adding engine management to engine management is not like adding a catless downpipe and a larger intercooler to your setup. You would not receive a symbiotic benefit, and could (would likely) end up with an engine running very dangerous and unknown parameters.

Since this is a relatively new forum I'll just add a counterpoint to the Juicebox discussion via E90post:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78381 Note that alot of people like Terry and/or his product, some just don't like his methods. Of course, Shiv has his detractors as well and they hit this forum pretty quickly. Personally, I'm going to wait for the N54 tuning market to mature a bit more (I don't really have a choice ). BTW, anyone who is seriously considering buying a 135i needs to browse the forced induction sections on Bimmerfest and E90post. There's a buttload of good info mixed in with the usual forum BS. Prepare for hours of reading... |
