Rear end creaking groaning diff or suspension
Has anyone else encountered and possibly solved an issue with a creaking/groaning noise coming from the rear end?
It started about last September, 4 months ago. It would only happen when starting to accelerate mildly. Now it creaks with every initial acceleration. It happens for about the first second or two when starting to accelerate, rolling or from a stop. Could this be the diff, diff mounts, sub frame mounts, or maybe rear springs rubbing.

get it on a rack and shine some light in some spots or pay a dealer scope fee to diagnose for you. from the description my first guess would be drive shaft/joints then tran mounts
this is in the wrong forum and 1M folks carry pitch forks and melee weapons |
