WTB: Strut Brace Mount

Looking for the strut bar/brace mount off an E82. This is the triangle piece.

Or if someone has the part number that would be great as well.

Thanks

The E82 doesn't mount to a center triangular piece like the M strut bar does. The two ends simply meet and overlap at the center and are bolted to the chassis altogether.

Yea for some reason I thought my E82 had one, but you're right its just the 2 bars. Looks like I will need to pick up the HP Auto one, or cut mine up then weld it.

It's this part number: 51618045860

Probably a part worth trying to source from a junkyard if you really wanted lowest price.

That piece won't fit directly on the E82 chassis because the angle of the firewall is different. That's why the HP Auto piece is $170 while the OEM one is $130.

Thank you for the part number!

Not a direct fit, but it works.

I have the HPA M3 strut bar kit with that part having the correct angle for an E82.

Hi, I am not interested in parting out the kit at this time.

Not entirely sure what your end goal is, but I just swapped in the 1M strut tower brace parts onto mine to clear coilover rebound adjusters:

I pieced together the kit myself for ~$200.

Uses the same round strut tower caps as the m3, but with e82 style bolt in arms.

I wrapping up my S65 swap so I'm trying to keep as many of the E90 parts as possible. The M3 brace mount is much beefier than the 1M pieces.
