No FM Reception When Rear Defroster Is On
I have a 2011 1M with Nav, HD Radio and Sirius. While driving into work today I noticed that I don't have FM reception with the rear defroster on. Sirius works flawless. Seems like a silly problem in this day and age, but is this normal? Is there a fix for this?
Thank you in advance! |

Mine works with rear defrosters on. Sounds like an issue you should check with your dealer.

Maybe make sure your radio antenna is set to AUTO in the hidden menu...

I tried mine now that the weather is cool enough. No problems whatsoever. I also found that HD radio sounds pretty good. I have never listened to FM in the car, just an old Sirius junkie.

Just developed the same problem. I thought it might be related to the battery cable recall work, but that doesn't sound like the case with you. Yesterday the dealer said it was failure of antenna part (booster?) that's under the headliner. Price to fix?-
about $900!!!
