I need latest version of SP-DATEN

I tried the one from bimmergeeks website, but they're old. And can anyone recommend me a good toturial on how to use sp-daten to unlock the key features. For E88

You have to download it from the BimmerGeeks site. https://www.bimmergeeks.net/downloads

Also not sure what you mean by "to get the most of it." In order to do anything with the files, you will need to download and install the Standard Tools and might as well get ISTA (Rheingold) also. Read the guide. Follow it step by step. Its extremely thorough.

I downloaded them, but bimmergeeks doesn't have the latest version. Do you know how to code my key to open the top and windows or any other cool features

I've used the DATEN files off Bimmergeeks site no issues, along with their install of BMW Standard Tools (and the K+DCAN cable lol). You're gonna need to hang out in the coding section for a bit. BTW anything that works for E9x is 100% the same for E82/E88

That would be an NCSDummy or NCSExpert job I think.

As ^Desertman said, all of this stuff has been done before and documented to some level. Spend some time reading in the Coding section on e90post. There’s a wealth of information there.

If you’ve got more money than time/drive you could always find a local guy who does BMW coding and pay someone to do it.

Finally, Carly is another option that can do some of that stuff.

As the others have said, all the info is there. You just need to spend some time reading and digesting it.

I have an e88 too and have the windows and roof going down via the key fob as well as the mirrors closing via the key fob too.
These aren't 'new' features do I don't think having the latest so daten files really matters.

i know. I don't need the latest daten for that. I'm looking for it to get the best economical performance the car can do.

The last time I checked the SP daten files had nothing to do with 'performance'.
If performance is what you're after you'll need a tune.

They are used for coding different options and configurations on a vehicle.

I have a stock 128i. All I'm looking for is ECONOMICAL performance. Increase MPG.

I thought the latest files would have updated ratios on how things work in the car to make it more efficient.
