I'd be hesitant. The bulbs get very hot and have been known to burn the surrounding plastic. I believe there's a few threads about it on e90post.
Edit: I was curious since I couldn't remember the exact details and did the search for you http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30283 http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34980 |

I love the look of them. I have had them in my 05 325i with no problems. I think that all other cars bulbs are too yellow now in the inside. Definatley a must have for me when I get my 135i in.

From my experience based on several installs on everything from a 1 series, 3 series, 5 and X5, they are a really solid product. The newest iterations have the burning issue solved and they are guaranteed for life so you do not have to worry about these burning out.

The xenon he was referring too are called filament bulbs.. and they dont last as long as LED's but are way cheaper.... i've looked into it.. your looking at $27 vs $100.00 or something like that..

Unless they have definitely fixed the problem, an extra $75 is not that much in order to not have to worry about my car burning to the ground. |

eBay, and like everything else you can find really good ones just like you can find simply trash, so just do your usual homework, check feedbacks and so on, the better ones nowadays are the 1 watt LEDs (aka SMTs, SMDs etc) and up, they have great light output, their viewing angle is almost 180 ( works best with reflectors) and their size is still close to original if not same (no modifications)
