Question Too much E85 --> Fuel Pump shutdown?

Twice in the past month I've had my engine shut down during partial throttle acceleration. Once in 5th gear, another in 2nd.
The HUD in the vehicle displays "Fuel Pump" as the malfunction.
Engine won't start. Have to disconnect battery for engine to start again and everything back to normal.
I have a stage 2 LPFP.
Would too much E85 in the tank cause the Fuel pump to shutdown completely?

I wonder if the current draw from your stage 2 lpfp is over heating your ekp and triggering the fault? I haven't dug into ekp's too much, but I know bigger lpfp can over-tax them and cause issues.
