Downpipe

Does anyone know the average cost to install a catless Downpipe on an n55?
I have the aftermarket downpipe just sitting in my backseat waiting to be thrown on and I want to knkw the average labor hours and estimated cost. I know that mechanics charge different hourly rates, just looking for a ballpark figure.

Thanks guys!

Most shops can do it in 1.5-2 hours.

Most shops will charge about 2 hours for a N55 catless downpipe.

Yeah, shops Will charge 4-6 for N54 DPs. N55 guys are lucky in this regard if they have to meet smog every year.

Well I would love to find a shop for a price quote of only 1.5 - 2 hours... every single Indy shop I've contacted in Austin are charging $500+

A decent shop with experience will charge between 2-3 hours for the N54 since there's a bit more work involved. It can be almost double if fitting a no name downpipe since their fitment is spotty.
