Bmw cca
I recently became a member of bmw cca, I was reading that as a member I am to receive savings when purchasing a new car.. $500 for an M car... But the catch is, my CA said you have to be a member for at least a year.. Anyone else know different?

correct. you have to be a member for a full year.
http://stage.bmwcca.org/index.php?pa...ership_rewards This is a really neat program, one which you would think that dealers would pick up on and encourage people to become BMW CCA members... especially to their lease clients.... Pay $50 a year for a CCA membership and come back to the dealer in three years and save $500-1500 on your next car... that's a no brainer! (annual membership to local BMW car club chapter which may be a ton of new friends and events you can do ALSO INCLUDED!) There is a serious catch in that you MUST have been a member for a full year prior to purchasing the car (no, they DON'T make exceptions), and the person buying the car must have the car in their name, and also be the person that is the club member. For example.. if Mr. Jones is a club member for a year, and he and Mrs. Jones buy a car and title the car under her name only... then she is not eligible for a rebate unless she is the club member or an associate member. This happened to a couple in my chapter. If they had made the sale transaction for the car in his name, then rebate.. but it was under her name.. no rebate it's a sticky detail.... but no... there are NO exceptions. Follow the rules to the letter. Mail your request within the required 60 days... If you don't... guess what.... no rebate.. Etc. For any club members out there, I highly recommend auto-renewal of your membership billed to your credit card. If your membership lapses for even a SINGLE day, that will jeopardize (read: it ain't gonna happen) your Membership Rewards rebate. Last edited by M3 Adjuster; 01-28-2011 at 10:07 AM.. |
