I really miss the MK4 scene when it was in its prime 10 years ago! I remember when I did my projector retrofits and at the time it was like driving a Bentley because the vast vast majority of cars were all halogen bulbed.
Dubtek's JB 20th was my favorite and the 337 GTI's were my all time favorite!

Here was mine, which I loved with an intense passion:

The Alfa Giula, looks sexy at night!

The 335i E93 was doing just dandy per usual, and the new Si looked like a fun car to blast around in at that price point!

Here are a two pictures we took at the bar we stopped off.

It was a first drive like that for everyone except me, and now that they are hooked they want to plan another drive like that before the season ends! We plan to go again in the fall and proper pictures will be taken next time! That E92 AlpineE92M3 is the tits and decked out with M-Performance goodies!
Rehosted pics.

I used to love 68's on the M3's.
Frankly, on my E88, I prefer the 261's.
Surely wouldn't refuse a set of 313's or VMR's, though.

Ordered a repair kit for the large DISA in my intake manifold since it had some notable play when I had the manifold out for replacing the starter. I'm noticing a huge power hit after 4.5-5k rpm, which is where that particular valve is supposed to change over. Also got a new windshield gasket, mine is falling off and is too stiff to fit back in place securely, so it just flails around at freeway speeds.

More LSD fun ensued in a brief downpour. Turning right in an off-camber corner, breathed on the gas to get through the corner and the tail went very wide. I'm having too much fun with this, even when I don't intend to...

You have to do a burnout with that taxi sign on the car.

Are you leaving the trunk like Matticus91 has? It's a surprisingly good look...

Yeah a video with the sign on is definitely happening. Gonna wrap the whole trunk for now but might do a black piece in vinyl down the road. not sure how overpowering it will with with the larger different shapped 1M diffuser

1m front end kit.., now saving for a rear setup, not sure if i want n5 tuner panels or 1m quarters.

does anyone know if the n5 tuner rear panels allow you to cut the wheel well to make more room for wider wheels?.

And to ppl who used the 1m quarters and used only a small portion of the panel instead of the whole quarter how did they get the side skirts to work?. I was assuming that you would need the whole thing on to make it work but i dunno..

Did my first oil change personally on my car today. It's nice the BMW oil filters include both rubber O-rings and the copper crush washer for the drain plug. What I didn't like was it appears some ham fisted dealer mechanic decided to remove the plastic door covering the opening to the drain plug on the under tray.

Only thing was I poured 6.5 quarts of oil into the engine to see how close I would be to max level and found out it is at max level. Not sure if I didn't get all the oil out due to having the front end propped up. Makes me wonder if the dealer mechanics just pour in 7 quarts without actually checking...which is probably the case.

6.5 litres/quarts is the correct amount. I just dump in 6.5 whenever I do my oil changes and it always hits full and I do the changes on a lift with the car level. Never had a shop service my car but I assume they are just putting 7 qts on their invoice as they don't do half qts.

So, a couple things. The N5 tuner flares definitely allow and pretty much require you to cut your quarters, unless you just run stock height suspension with strange wheel/tire setup.

On the 1M quarter side, I don't think I've seen people only use partial quarters? There are other flares out there that would achieve the 'look' but I'm not sure on using only part of the 1M quarter

Prior Design makes "rear widenings" that match up with 1M rear and side skirts
